MANILA-Vice President Jejomar C. Binay Friday
assured that the Filipino nurse reportedly raped in Libya is now under the
custody of the Philippine embassy in Tripoli.
Binay said in an interview in Butuan City.
higpit ng labanan,” he added.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) had raised alert level 4
in Libya.
As Presidential Adviser on Overseas Filipino Workers’ (OFW)
Concerns, Binay appealed to OFWs to heed the government’s call for them to come
back home.
