Apparel manufacturing firm extends lease in Clark, eyes expansion of operations

CLARK FREEPORT-Apparel manufacturing firm L&T International Group Philippines Inc. (LTIGPI) recently signed a 25-year extended lease agreement with Clark Development Corporation (CDC), pouring in an estimated $6.5 million worth of investments as it eyes expanded operations in the Freeport.
 
“Under the agreement, LTIGPI shall construct six 70,000-square meter buildings in its expansion area,” CDC President Arthur Tugade said.
 
Over 5,000 careers shall be generated upon completion of expansion by 2020.
