RAPED PINAY NURSE IN LIBYA NOW IN PHL EMBASSY CUSTODY – VP BINAY

MANILA-Vice President Jejomar C. Binay Friday assured that the Filipino nurse reportedly raped in Libya is now under the custody of the Philippine embassy in Tripoli.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) had raised alert level 4 in Libya.

As Presidential Adviser on Overseas Filipino Workers’ (OFW) Concerns, Binay appealed to OFWs to heed the government’s call for them to come back home.

The Philippine Embassy in Libya is in KM 7 Gargaresh Road, Abu Nawas, Tripoli. Embassy staff may be reached at (+218) 918244208, (+218-21) 483-3966, as well as tripoli.pe@gmail.com and tripoli.pe@dfa.gov.ph
