NLEX MANAGEMENT REKINDLES WORKING TIES WITH PRO3

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga-North Luzon Expressway managers operating under the Tollways Management Corporation (TMC) meets Police Regional Office 3, Regional Director, PCSUPT RAUL D PETRASANTA with selected staff officers in the morning of December 9, 2013.

The meeting was meant to discuss and re-asses the current security and safety posture along the 84 kilometers North Luzon Expressway which serves as the main gateway to Central Luzon and to the farthest North.

TMC President and CEO, Mr. Ramoncito S Fernandez invited the Regional Director and party to their state of the art Traffic Control Room which serves as the heart and soul of the general operations of NLEX. Also presented were the man power, communication assets; vehicles for law enforcement, engineering, maintenance and repair; and emergency response, other out- source services, to include its NLIGTAS project which aims to provide on-line real-time traffic situation and advisory. Mr. Fernandez also discussed the future expansion project of NLEX and its planned interconnection with SLEX.

PCUSPT RAUL D PETRASANTA recommended during the discussion that the CCTV camera installed at the teller’s booth be reoriented or relocated in order to capture not only the image of the teller which serves the purpose of the management monitoring, but also to capture the image of the driver in aid to PRO3’s anti-criminality measures.

At the end of the meeting, TMC President and CEO lionized PRO 3 for its continued support in all NLEX undertakings particularly on law enforcement. Laterally, PCSUPT RAUL D PETRASANTA cogently assured the Tollways Management Corporation, of PRO3’s total and reinvigorated support.
