Aurora-As the fight against illegal drugs continue, Dipaculao Police and operatives
of the anti-illegal drugs operation task group (AIDSOTG) led by Police Inspector
Robert Prado arrested a suspected drug pusher who is also a big time
businessmen in his motorcycle spare parts store at Brgy. South Poblacion, in
this town, last Thursday afternoon in coordination with PDEA.
Police
identified the suspect as Danilo Manzanillo y Diego, businessman, former brgy.
councilor at Brgy. South Poblacion, 49, married, a resident of Barangay South
Poblacion, this municipality.
Report
disclosed that the police conducted a buy-bust operation at the said place
where the suspect sold a sachet of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride locally known
as shabu to the authorities.
The
operation resulted to the recovery of two small sachets of alleged shabu weighing
0.0315 grams and 0.2405 grams and the P1,000 marked money bill bearing serial
number DX447000 from the possession of the suspect.
The
suspect is temporarily detained at Dipaculao Police Station while the case for
violation of R.A. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs
Act of 2002, is readied against him in court.
